About Richard Lamb

I graduated Licentiate in Acupuncture in 1986 after 3 years at the Traditional Acupuncture Collage in Leamington under Professor Worsley. Further study includes TCM (Traditional Chinese Acupuncture) qualification at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM) and I am currently studying Pediatric (Children's) acupuncture.

Prior to this I had done a variety of work including conservation and landscape gardening. Since then I have been in full-time practice at various clinics in Norfolk.

Also I have worked part-time for 10 years in 'detox acupuncture' for recovering alcoholics run by the charity NORCAS.

From 2003 - 2006 I studied at Reading with John and Angela Hicks for the Traditional Chinese Medicine qualification and in 2006 started a 3 year course with Julian Scott and Teresa Barlow in Paediatric, Children's Acupuncture.

I have recently moved to Norwich where I live with my wife and enjoy the city and local area.

Acupuncture is an holistic approach to health based on over 2,000 years of development and refinement in the Far East.

Traditional acupuncture is actually used to treat people with a wide range of illnesses. Its focus is on improving the overall wellbeing of the patient, rather than the isolated treatment of specific symptoms.
